Valentine Cards ~ Wild Love by Photoplay

Hi everyone, I am back to share some more Valentine Day cards.   If you missed my first set of cards, please check them out HERE. For this set of cards, my aim was to use the Wild Love Paper collection by Photoplay. Card 1- Hello Wild One For this card, I started with a panel of watercolour paper 4" W x 5 9/19"H . I used Distress Ink Tumble Glass and created an ombre background sky heavy on the bottom and light on top. Wild Love Mixed Media Valentine Cards

Mixed Media Technique 1 - Stencilling and Distress Oxide For this card, I used the Kaisercraft stencil and 4 colors of Distress Oxide on the card stock (which I trimmed to 4" wide) : - Iced Spruce, - Salty Ocean, - Picked Raspberry, - Peacock Feathers, I then fussy cut the journaling card with the cute bear and attached that to the ...

I have gone back to school (well college to be exact) and I am working on getting certified to go into the aged care sector.  I am specifically focusing on dementia and disability. I have about 6 weeks to go before I go on placement in March and then I very much look forward to starting a rewarding career in aged care.  It's going to be a very busy next couple of months!! It has also been a great summer holidays!  Having my boys home from school is always a blessing although I don't know how it happens, but the contents of my kitchen usually end up in the theatre in front of the playstation.  Hmmm interesting that- especially when there is a blanket "No eating in the theatre" rule!!  A member of our family has also had a bit of a pamper and just in time for Australia Day no l...
