Take5Art ~ January 2019 ~ Friendship

#amirainoz #take5art #mixedmedia Hi everyone, It's time for the #take5art December Challenge with Windy's Prompts. This month the prompts she gave the group are: 1- Tea / Coffee 2- Pink 3- Lace / Yarn 4- Stamping 5- Literature Quote For this layout, I used my High Tea stamp set by Kaisercraft to create a layout that speaks to how good a cup of tea between friends can be. Absolutely love how it turned out. If you are inspired to play along, please do and share your project with the hashtag #take5art and tag me on social media (FB or IG). I'd love to see how you used my prompts and who your influential figure is. Don’t forget to check out all the other amazing ladies! Thank you so much for stopping by xx Amira You can find the process video HERE

Oh Holy Night ~ Tea Light Box Card

Hi everyone, After my successful milk carton filled with chocolate that ended up being a gift for my son's teacher, I was thinking about a gift idea to give someone who can not or does not like chocolate and I came across an awesome project on Pinterest and I thought, I can make that!! The picture I originally saw was this one and it inspired me to make a tea light box card to give to my neighbours this Christmas. There was no tutorial and no dimensions so I went ahead and made it up as I went. To make a card base Cut your card stock down to 8" W x 5.5"H. Along the long edge, score @ 3.5" and 4.25" The card will be 5.5" H. Next, cut 3 panels of pattern paper to 3.5" W x 5 2/8" H. I used the gorgeous angel pattern from the Oh Holy Night Collection by Echo Park  You will also need 2 thin strips at 3/8"W X 5 2/8" H. These are the inner and outer spine coverings. Adhere your paper panels to y

Oh Holy Night - Lumaire

Welcome back everyone, I have a wonderful project for you today :) Lets make a Lumaire!! I started off using this beautiful paper from  Echo Park's Oh Holy Night Collection Kit Here are the sizes you are going to need : 8 x Pattern paper @ 2.25"W X 3.75"H  4 x vellum @ 1.75" W x 3" H 1 x pattern paper @ 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" (this is for the base) Also cut 2 X cereal boxes (glue them together) @ 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" 1  X Pattern paper @ 2.25" W x 2.5" H ( this is for the lid) The 8 pieces of pattern paper will form the walls of your lumaire. Each wall has a sandwich of vellum in between 2 pieces of pattern paper. To be able to see the tea light flickering, you will need to cut a window out of the paper and replace it with the vellum. I chose this rectangle die - 1.25" W X 2.5" H to cut the middle out of my papers ( frame on far left has already been sandwiched with vellum).
