Hi everyone, Back again with another layout in my art journal swap collaboration with Lolly Palooza. In this episode, I create a scene using the "Apple of my eye" collection by Jayne Nestorenko for Clarity stamps.  This adds to the stamped layout I made on the right of the page which you can see me build in the July Gorjuss Art spread HERE   I used my Prima Watercolor pans in this spread. Barbara Grey broke the news on her blog and talked about how she wanted to do something positive in response. She and her husband joined the 'Walk all over Cancer' movement and encouraged people to walk 10K steps a day- a subject near and dear to my heart as this is one of my personal goals. Hello Everyone, I sat down late one night to do one of my favourite relaxing activities - watercoloring. I used this  beautiful stamp by stamping Bella  I created 2 color schemes. The one on the left is a spring themed one with a dusky sky and green grass (but why is there Nuvo snow - hmm have to rethink that one!) and the one on the right is a winter scene with snow falling and on the ground. This one is a completely whimsical theme  - orange sky, purple grass and red trees! Right out of Willy Wonka's mind methinks! This last one is one I tried to mimic the picture on the actual stamp. I LOVE the darkness of the sky. I think adding dark values is really important in water color especially because it dries light. Dear All, Today I am making cards and ATCs to fit a summer beach theme for a group I am swapping with. First, I used water color paper and produced a lovely layout using this color palette. Next, I sued this anchors embossing folder by KaiserCraft to create some dimension to the paper. Here I layered the paper with a "rope" speciality paper from the Coastal Escape collection. I used pieces from the ephemera pack and some hessian from my own stash to create this card below A second card I made: My third card: So here are all the cards in one view: Now for the ATC's: No 1: No 2: No 3: Here they are all together: Here they all are: Now, I need to decide which card is going with which ATC to which swap partner.
