Hey everyone, Are you ready for another sketch to re-scrap another layout?? Here it is (Although as you'll soon see, I sort of didn't stick to it) And here is the original layout that I wanted to re-scrap. Cute picture- totally needs a re-scrap though- not so fond of terracotta and yellow.  Or flower punch art!! I am in love with this cork patterned paper from the  May Kit   from Aunty Vera Scrap & Craft. It's the back of this 3"x4" journaling cards paper from Echo Park (which in itself gave me a lot of grief- see the video). I also totally loved this yellow cross stitched pattern paper.  The back of another 4"x4" journaling card paper.  Another dilemma! From the May Kit, I also reached for the I'd rather be crafting co-ordingating solid papers and chose the teal and yellow combination. This is what I used to matt the photo. Hey crafty friends, I'm so glad to be involved in this year's 'National Scrapbooking Day' event! When Aunty Vera asked me what my challenge was going to be this year, I knew exactly what I was going to do. I have been meaning to get to my old scrapbooking layouts and re-do some of the awful layouts I made earlier in my scrapbooking days when I didn't have many supplies and didn't really know what I was doing. So, here is my challenge to everyone who knows what I'm talking about!! Take out your old scrapbooking albums, the REALLY REALLY early ones, and find a layout that makes you CRINGE.  See that photo?  It deserves to be scrapped properly!!  Now, if you can, really gently pull that picture off and match it to some of  your pretty hoarded papers and pull out all those lovely embellishments and washi tapes and flowers and everything else you've been accumulating for this occasion and .... UHHH!!!   I mean RESCRA...

Hey everyone, I am starting this challenge off by re-scrapping this picture of my dearly beloved Nana. I chose this sketch, honestly, because of the doily! Quickly followed by the flowers.  My Nana was a very elegant lady and she loved lace and flowers. I knew that I wanted to use the paper collection  'TypeCast' by We R Memory Keepers  because it was very soft and floral and had lovely gold foiling and lots of pink (my Nana's favourite color). For the flowers in the layout, I use a die set by  KaiserCraft called Floral Clusters . For the title and the embellishments, I used border strips chipboard alpha stickers from my stash So here is my new and improved layout, my layout makeover, my re-scrapped layout!! So beautiful !
