Trick or Treat - Coffin Gatefold Card

Hi everyone,
Have you ever made a coffin card? No? Neither have I, so I thought I would try something new.
I found this template from a Martha Stewart product which I was able to download and print out on normal copier paper.

I then cut out the inside of the 'coffin' along the dash lines. The 'coffin' is approx 2 3/4" W (at its widest point) x 6" H.
Trace this template onto your patterned paper. Make sure you have 2.
You also need 2 strips of card stock measuring 2 1/4" x 6". Score each piece at 1/4" and 2" along the short edge.
Next, run a strip of double sided sticky tape along one of the scored flaps and adhere one coffin to it so that it opens to the left of the gatefold card.
In a mirror image, adhere the other strip of the right side of the other coffin so that the coffin opens to the right of the gatefold card.
Next, run double sided tape along the other 1/4" score on each of the card stock strips and adhere them on top of eac…

Trick or Treat! - Amira's Halloween Treat Bags & Witch's Hat Paper Clips

Hello everyone,
I'm back for a very quick blog post to show you my Trick or Treat Halloween Bags and some cute paper clip art I made!
I ordered this cute stamp on AliExpress a while ago and she ended up getting used A LOT this October! I love her so much.
I sat up one night and coloured her several different ways using Prima water colors and I even made her skin purple and green!

Needless to say, I did have to fussy cut them all out by hand but that didn't take too long I promise.
Next, I pulled out my We R Memory Keeper Gift Bag Punch Board and grabbed some of the My Mind's Eye 'Trick or Treat' Paper Collection

And I made some cute Halloween Trick or Treat Bags

I also made some Witch's Hat Paper Clips as closures for the bags

Here is each one separately:

Amira's Halloween Play Challenge #7 - Halloween Script + PRIZE REVEAL

Welcome back to the LAST DAY of the Halloween Play Challenge!
Today I am playing with the Vintage Spirits Die by Sizzix and Tim Holtz

These dies make GREAT sentiments on cards.
Card 1- Fright
For this card, I used VersaMark and black embossing powder to add the "Happy Halloween" and the spider. Next, I used Distress Ink 'Carved Pumpkin' to ink around the edges leaving a bright white centre.

Next, I die-cut the word 'Fright' out of the glitter foam.

I then added a pumpkin in the corner and some grid stamping for texture in the background for a more "worn" look.

Card 2- Wicked
This second card, uses a cute girl dressed as a witch (stamp set from my stash). She is coloured in using Prima Watercolors. I also used a Wrought Iron die-cut (from my stash) which I coloured using green/gold/brown to achieve a rust effect.

I felt like she needed something in the bottom left corner so I added a pumpkin.

I love this card! She is not wicked at all....sort of cut…
