National Scrapbooking Day 2018 ~ Rescrap your old layout #4 ~ Blessed Happiness

Hey everyone, Are you ready for my 4th and final sketch for National Scrapbooking Day 2018? This is the original layout that I wanted to re-scrap! Ehm. I did manage to matt the photo but thats about all I did. So im not sure this even qualifies as a "re-do" LOL Firstly, the photo proportions are off! Its too large and it was cropped too close and a bit of centre. I re-printed it and left it at it's original measurements. For the extra space on the right, I decided to utilise it as journaling space and I love how it turned. This sketch is AWESOME for scrap pieces of papers that you want to use up. I still ended up using Echo Park's "I'd rather be crafting" patterned papers from the  May Kit  and I adore how well thy all go together and co-ordinate very nicely. I decided to place a piece of vellum so that my sentiment would stand out. The sentiment and all the "bits and pieces" on...

National Scrapbooking Day 2018 ~ Rescrap your old layout #3 ~ JOY

Hey everyone, I have another re-scrap for you! This is the one I am most embarrassed to share with you!! It looks like I was experimenting with stamping and chalking and well, it doesn't look too good to me right now (I don't know if it ever did). Here is the sketch I will be following. I started off choosing a pink and teal color scheme for the layout. I then went about cutting strips of patterned paper from the I'd rather be Crafting Echo Park collection in the May Kit from Aunty Vera Scrap & Craft. The strips are 6" tall and vary in wide from 1" to 3". The teal paper is 5.75"H x 11.5"W. I also decided that the picture need another patterned paper to matt behind it. (although I did trim the matt a little bit more after taking this picture as I realised it was a little too large). Next, I dipped into my stash and I mean my OLD collectables because I pulled out this 2014 collection ...

National Scrapbooking Day 2018 ~ Rescrap your old layout #2 ~ Loved

Hey everyone, Are you ready for another sketch to re-scrap another layout?? Here it is (Although as you'll soon see, I sort of didn't stick to it) And here is the original layout that I wanted to re-scrap. Cute picture- totally needs a re-scrap though- not so fond of terracotta and yellow.  Or flower punch art!! I am in love with this cork patterned paper from the  May Kit   from Aunty Vera Scrap & Craft. It's the back of this 3"x4" journaling cards paper from Echo Park (which in itself gave me a lot of grief- see the video). I also totally loved this yellow cross stitched pattern paper.  The back of another 4"x4" journaling card paper.  Another dilemma! From the May Kit, I also reached for the I'd rather be crafting co-ordingating solid papers and chose the teal and yellow combination. This is what I used to matt the photo. I also decided to only use half of each paper and ...
