I am pleased to announce that in 2018 I will be introducing a series called "12 Mini Gorjuss Paper Clips".
Yes! Those Gorjuss Mini Stamps I have been collecting are going to be put to good use!
Following my January art journal layout (which you can find HERE) , I stayed with stamp No.11 and used the second image that I coloured in - the green and pink girl.
Next, I grabbed one of my jumbo 97mm paper clips
and created a canvas out of card stock to the size of 3.23" W x 8" H and folded it in half.
In this series, I still plan on using up my stash so I collected a 6"x 6" paper pad, a stamp and a die set to make a scene.
I chose this pretty script background that had green, purple and gold hexagons and stamped a mini agapanthus image using Evergreen bough.
Next, I die-cut my flower die out of green paper from matching paper purple and green paper from the paper pad and layered it up on green card stock to give it depth.
Next, I added my gorjuss girl and her little squirrel companion.
I die-cut a banner out of corrugated gold card stock
and added it to the top of my canvas - I really love how it picks up the gold hexagons and the gold paperclip tone!
Next, I grabbed my Tim Holtz sticker book "small talk" and added this sentiment.
Last of all, I embellished with a purple heart button just above her head and a perfectly matching green flower which I attached atop one of the agapanthus stamped image.
