Hi everyone, We have reached the month of December and here is the last art journal layout in this Gorjuss mini art journal series. Mixed emotions :) So thankful to have done it and so proud of this little book of mini layouts. Also super grateful to you all for tuning in every month and for your wonderful words of support and encouragement. It has been a blast. The stamp I chose this month is No.55 - All these words and I chose a sentiment that I want to leave you with and one which I have definitely adopted over the past few years- Do all things with love. With love, we can find patience, strength and a determination to do what needs to be done for ourselves and for those around us. I want to extend to you the warmest of wishes this holiday season. Hi everyone, It's October and predictably, I have decided on a Halloween theme for my Gorjuss Mini Art Journal October spread. The stamp I chose this month is No.49 - Piracy and I teamed her up with Stamp No.50 Jar of Hearts  and Stamp No. 3 The Pretend Friend. Yes! 3 stamps this month!! The background technique this month is a technique called Paint Resist. I used both the following stencils, one with black acrylic paint and one with white. To achieve this look. I then reached for this Thinlets Die by Sizzix called Trick or treat,  and in combination with a few pieces of ephemera from an older Tim Holtz Halloween kit, I was able to achieve a ver y spooky Trick or Treat scene that reminded me of that 1984 Stephen King horror movie - Children of the Corn. Hello everyone, Welcome spring and welcome everyone!  I've been waiting to get to this pile of envelopes sitting on my craft table - I just don't know how I end up with so many envelopes!  I think it's because I just add cards into presents that I gift wrap and I always forget the envelope.  Anyway! I designed this simple and interactive envelope album and decorated it with the Echo Park Hello Spring collection papers from the September Kit.  I also decided to make it a little gorgeous by adding a little Gorjuss to make it a Hello Gorjuss Spring Album (I know- a bit corny). You will need 4 envelopes for the base of this album. Make sure they are all the same size. Start with the first envelope and add adhesive (in my case, PVA glue) as shown: Then attach the flap of the second envelope to the flap of the first envelope. Hi Everyone, This month's mini art journal layout features the Gorjuss mini stamp #13 Fairy Lights. She looked like a cute little wood sprite that I wanted to create a woodland scene featuring her. So I went into my stash and located my Fairytale Friends stamp set by Your Next Stamp and created this lovely woodland scene filled with gorgeous little woodland creatures.   The background was created with twinkling H2Os and the trees are die-cuts using my Impression Obsession Birch tree die set.
