12 Gorjuss Mini Paper Clips for 2018 ~ July ~ HOME SWEET HOME

Hi everyone, To make this month's paper clip, I pulled out a few items from my stash along with my pile of paper scraps. Along with this month's chosen Gorjuss Mini Stamp No.10- Purrfect Love , I chose: - Sizzix Thinlet - House die - Poppy Stamps - Country Fence - Poppy Stamps - Strolling Kitties I also pulled out my box of buttons and charms as finishing touches. My canvas is a piece of Kraft card stock that measures 3.5" x 8", scored and folded in half. I find papers in my scrap bucket and start assembling my mini Gorjuss paper clip art. The 'making it happen' element is a sticker from the I am by Simple Stories sticker pack and I top pff the paper clip with a Home Sweet Home ribbon by Americal Crafts and thread a 'bunch of keys' charm through the paper clip. Check out my process video HERE Thank you for stopping by. xx Amira

12 Gorjuss Mini Paper Clips for 2018 ~ March ~ Take me away

Hi everyone ! Welcome back to the 12 Mini Gorjuss Paper Clips! It's March and this month, I chose Stamp  No.59 'Flying above it all' Gorjuss Mini stamp by Santoro . I have already created an art journal page with this stamp which you can find  HERE and a process video for that which you can also find  HERE Once again, I am using my jumbo 97mm paper clips  I first make a base for my paper clip out of white card stock which measures 3.25" x 8" scored @ 4". Next, I use some of this vellum which I have been hoarding for some time. Dear Lizzy Neapolitan vellum Because this character is riding a bird, this scenery has to be one of a sky so I reached for my rainbow and cloud die set and created a rainbow out of 6 colors of card stock. Next, I stamped the girl 4 times and coloured in various sections  Base: Color in the bird and the girl's hair Layer 2: Color in the girl's skin, hair and dress Layer 3: ...

DeskTop Photo Display Card ~ Carta Bella's 'Hello Sweetheart'

Hi Crafty friends, My most favourite item in the Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft February kit has got to be the papers by Carta Bella!! I wanted to make an 'off the page' project so I could showcase these papers year round. And since it was Valentine's Day, I also wanted to incorporate pictures of the people I love the most. So 2 birds, 1 stone- I came up with this photo frame design which I modelled off a  Vellum Luminary Card  I saw on Pinterest. I'm calling it the Valentine DeskTop Photo Frame /  Mini Craft Peg Board / Display Card... or whatever you would like to call it HAHA!! All you need to construct the base is 1 sheet of 12" x 12" card stock. Cut this to 10" x 12". Along the 12" edge, score @: - 3" - 6" - 9" Along the 10" edge, cut in half @ 5". Fold in valleys and mountains to both to get something that looks like this. To the front frame, attach ...
