12 Gorjuss Paper Clips of 2018 ~ November ~ Find your magic

Hi everyone, The stamp I chose this month is No.2 - New Heights and for the paper clip design, I decided to go with the book theme already evoked by the image where the little gorjuss girl is standing on a pike of books. If you missed the art journal layout I did earlier using this stamp, please check out the process video HERE I started by stamping a whole lot of faux eco stained papers with my Kaisercraft script stamp One of these papers, gets glued down to the base of the paper clip, the remaining 3 end up with a hole in them. To do this, I poke a hole with my pen from the back to the front and curl up the edges (see video for a better explanation) I end up with 3 layers of torn pages to make it look like the girl is coming out of the pages. Next the Gorjus little girl goes on there and I have propped her up with 3D foam tape. To cover up the inconsistent paper sizes along the top and bottom, I added this colourful ribbon whi...

12 Gorjuss Mini Paper Clips for 2018 ~ October ~ Be Brave

Hi everyone, For this month's paper clip, I wanted the feel of a pirate ship flag to match the pirate's Costume that this Santoro Gorjuss Mini Stamp No-49 Piracy. My theme this month was Halloween, so I tried to achieve a little girl dressed in her pirate costume "being brave" enough to go up to that scary looking house to ask for the mother of all candy loot *lol* The background was achieved by stencilling with paint (Dyan Reaveley Blue) and white acrylic paint. I used 2 stencils. To achieve the flag ship look, I added bits of hessian, cord, and ribbon around the periphery using a mini stapler. The haunted house is a die-cut using this Haunted house thinlets die by Sizzix: I hope you enjoyed this month's video. 12 Gorjuss Mini Paper Clips for 2018 ~ July ~ HOME SWEET HOME

Hi everyone, To make this month's paper clip, I pulled out a few items from my stash along with my pile of paper scraps. My canvas is a piece of Kraft card stock that measures 3.5" x 8", scored and folded in half. I find papers in my scrap bucket and start assembling my mini Gorjuss paper clip art. The 'making it happen' element is a sticker from the I am by Simple Stories sticker pack and I top pff the paper clip with a Home Sweet Home ribbon by Americal Crafts and thread a 'bunch of keys' charm through the paper clip. 12 Gorjuss Mini Paper Clips for 2018 ~ January ~ love with all your heart

Hi everyone ! I am pleased to announce that in 2018 I will be introducing a series called "12 Mini Gorjuss Paper Clips". Yes! Those Gorjuss Mini Stamps I have been collecting are going to be put to good use! Following my January art journal layout (which you can find HERE ) , I stayed with stamp No.11 and used the second image that I coloured in - the green and pink girl. Next, I grabbed one of my jumbo 97mm paper clips  and created  a canvas out of card stock to the size of 3.23" W x 8" H and folded it in half. In this series, I still plan on using up my stash so I collected a 6"x 6" paper pad, a stamp and a die set to make a scene.
