NSD 2018 Project Share ~ Pocket Page Scrapbooking Techniques

Hi everyone, I am so happy to show you this Pocket Page Layout which I made for Sarah's Challenge over at Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft. Sarah's challenge was to make a pocket page layout using at least 3 different techniques. I designed a template that uses 7 different tenchiques. I started by using the pocket cards from Aunty Vera's May Kit . Love the botanical theme of this collection from MAMBI . I started off with a blank slate that looked like this. Pocket 1 Shaker I created a 1/3 : 2/3 pocket page here using my Fuse Tool and added paper background to one and left the other one blank for 2 different shaker looks.  Pocket 2 Die-cutting I used this cute girl die which I bought online and teamed her up with this Floral Cluster die-set from Kaisercraft. Loving the black and maroon floral!!  Pocket 3 Stickers This alpha chipboard stickers were on clearance for 70c at my local Kmart. Worth t...

November Planner Layouts

Hello Crafty friends, Today's post is all about planner layouts!! I have a Vanskap Kikki K A5 planner that I love to adore and add things to and every month is a new theme which really inspires and delights me. For the month of November, I decided to MAKE MY OWN PLANNER LAYOUTS! Using the beautiful paper in the November Kit. I use  J.Burrows Premium A4 Digital Copy Paper  which I get from Officeworks here in Australia. This is great for printing and stamping and light watercoloring/pencil shading etc (you will see in the video that alcohol markers bleed through!) So the first thing I need every month is a dashboard to divide the sections up. On this dashboard, I usually have the month somewhere on there and then a representation of the theme of the month. For my November dashboard, I decided to use the  Stamping Bella Stamp  from the November Kit as the main element. I also added colour to the background by taking these beautiful...

Memory book with Kraftex Spine

Dear Reader, I am busy participating in 4 challenges for National Scrapbooking Day 2017. You can find this challenge over at Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft here . Here is my Memory Book for the challenge set for us by the talented Lolly Palooza . You can find out more about her challenge here . The paper collection I used is called "Just be You" by Echo Park. Here is the cover.  I knew I didn't want to use rings as a binding method so I came up with my own design. I used Kraftex to bind the front and back chipboard covers. I decorated the spine with stickers from the collection. Here is the inside of the spine once again decorated with more stickers. The binding on this memory book is a little different from what I usually go to. Do you remember the old medical file fasteners? They used to come in either metal or plastic. I decided to use the plastic here. You can choose to remove the plastic guard and just ben...
