Hi everyone, Super excited to share this next challenge project that I managed to complete in one whole day!! That's construction, matting and decorating!! Super happy with how it turned out! Dear Readers,  Here I am again with Kaisercraft's February Mood Board Challenge. Our challenge was to come up with a scrapbook layout inspired by this mood board! And here is my layout: Off the batt, I LOVE this cute striped paper clip and it high-lights the blue cap and white strap Zak is wearing SO well. I layered this sea shell with the Sunshine sentient and against the weatherboard paper and the foamy paper, it looks really good. Down here, I love the anchor against the burst of star fish against the weatherboard paper again. I used the red star fish paper from the previous Sail Away nautical collection and they go so well with the colors in the photo. So happy with this layout and SO happy to be back into scrapbooking!! Hello dear readers, I have been introduced to the magical world of porcelain dolls by my dear neighbour Rayma (see my previous blog post). One day, I ducked into the Salvation Army thrift store and came across this girl looking sad all alone on the shelf. When I asked the man behind the counter to bring her down for me, her leg came off in his palm and he said I could have her for $3 (she was marked as $9 originally). So I gave myself a challenge and decided to buy her and fix her up. A few things about her that I don't like: her hair is CARROTS (think Anne from Anne of Green Gables), there's orange glue oozing out of her eyes, she's missing an eye lash, the dress is horrid, and yes, her leg is broken.
