Hi Everyone, I have finished one of my watercolor journals from last year and I just needed to go finish it off by working on the cover so that's what I'm sharing with you today. I love the combination of yellow (fossilised amber and wild honey) with the peacock feathers Distress Oxides in the mixed media background. The stamp I used was Kaisercraft's 'Scrap Studio'. A paper doll (Tim Holtz) as the focal element plus a few pieces of ephemera from Echo Park's 'Just be You' die cuts which give this piece it's title. I also decided to do a little cluster of lace and ribbon overplayed with a butterfly in the bottom right corner which turned out so lovely in combination with her dress and the sentiment.
