Traveler's Notebook - Memory Keeping Layout - Heart and Soul

Hello everyone, I sat down to make a quick layout in my traveler's notebook using this photo of my mom. My objective in this layout was to use up as much scrap paper from my scrap bucket as I could so I started by matching papers to the colors of my photo. I decided to create a cluster of doily, tag and a few stickers around the photo. Next, I added a sticker which replaced journaling in this layout and which pretty much captured my thoughts. I also found some washi which also felt like the right sentiment and which I placed along the bottom of the right hand side layout to close the slight gap there. I found a project life card that ended up being the title of my layout and which pretty much captured the sentiment of the piece. TN Memory Keeping Layout ~ Epic

Hi everyone, I'm back today with my next layout in my TN memory Keeping Series. I am working in my DIY TN Inserts. If you are interested in making one yourself, check out my  tutorial   Today is an ode to my Fitbit Adventures :) In this layout I use mainly scrap patterned paper and layer with a acetate and washi tape. And pepper my white space with a whole lot of stickers and puffy hearts & stars. The puffy 'epic' expresses my emotions for my picture. Here is my whole layout :) To listen to the story behind my picture and to watch me make this layout, check out my process video  HERE Do you have a Fitbit? Whats your daily goal and how often do you smash it? Let me know in the comments below. I love hearing from you. xxAmira

If you want to make one yourself too and join in the adventure, check out the tutorial HERE . My color palette today is a combination of yellows, oranges and a touch of red. I also told myself that I was not allowed black and must leave white space. I broke both those rules within the first 5 minutes LOL So as I was editing my video, I realised I essentially added 5 layers to my layout and they are: Layer 1- Add Watercolor Layer 2- Add Collage Layer 3- Add Acrylic Paint Layer 4- Add Stencil and Stamps Layer 5- Doodling and Borders My collage element was this beautiful ephemera pack from Kaiser Craft "Golden Grove" collection. I felt this represented my word for the year which is 'EVOLVE'. I really enjoyed this p...
