Halloween Play Challenge #4- Feather and Ravens

Welcome back to Day #4 of the #HalloweenPlayChallenge. Today I am playing with this magnificent Feather & Ravens die!!! We have crows here in Australia which made me wonder what the difference between a raven and crow is. I did go off and have a look. If you are interested, see  HERE Back to my card :) I assembled my die-cut elements on a water color card front and it sparked such a wonderful scene in my mind that I knew straight away the scene I wanted to create. I used my Distress Oxides to create a beautiful night sky of greys and blues (Faded Jeans and Iced Sprice). Once again the crescent moon and the bats feature here. I love the start black of the die-cut raven against the blue-grey of the sky. Love the splashes of grey on the background making it look like more bats in the distance. And I love the romantic sentiment here "Seek the silence of the night bu moonlight"-  Just perfect for this scene. I enjoyed...

Halloween Play Challenge #3- COBWEB

Welcome back to Day #3 of the #HalloweenPlayChallenge. Today I am playing with the fabulous COBWEB die!!! Are you allowed to have more than one favourite? 'Cos this is another one of my favourites! Yes, it's a bit delicate so pull out the wax paper but you know what- when it tears just a little like mine did in the picture above, it looks for an even more authentic cobweb! So put back the wax paper! Take a look at the cards I made with this gorgoues web!! There is a story to this scene so make sure you head on over to the process video. Poor Mr Spider had an invited guest! Because I had so much fun with this die, I also made another card ... This spider was at the lab when the radioactive "incident" occurred and is well on his way to becoming the next Incredible Hulk *lol*. Check out the process video  HERE How are you going with your challenge? Remember it's all about having fun! Don't be 'scared...

Halloween Play Challenge #1- Haunted House

Hello Readers, I'm hosting a challenge over at Aunty Vera Scrap & Craft which uses this amazing Haunted House die. I had SO much fun with this!! My secret weapon was the black glitter foam which I used to die-cut the house out of. Bats were also cut from the same item. And I LOVE the crescent moon (I am a night sky gazer after all). So here is the first card I made  And because I had so much fun, here is a second one ... alike yet different... The card on the left was made using Distress Oxides while the card on the left was made using Distress Inks. The process video for these cards can be found  HERE . Remember, if you are inspired by this video, go ahead and take a picture of your project and upload it to Halloween Challenge Album in the FB  Group . There are 3 prizes up for grabs and the more times you enter a different project into the album, the more chances you have to w...
