Hi everyone, We have reached the month of December and here is the last art journal layout in this Gorjuss mini art journal series. Mixed emotions :) So thankful to have done it and so proud of this little book of mini layouts. Also super grateful to you all for tuning in every month and for your wonderful words of support and encouragement. It has been a blast. The stamp I chose this month is No.55 - All these words and I chose a sentiment that I want to leave you with and one which I have definitely adopted over the past few years- Do all things with love. With love, we can find patience, strength and a determination to do what needs to be done for ourselves and for those around us. I want to extend to you the warmest of wishes this holiday season. Hi everyone, As soon as I saw this paper titled 'Dash Away' from the  Santa's workshop Paper Collection  I knew I was going to make an advent calendar. Now there is no good way to blog how I made this project, so I'm going to have to refer you to the process video (link below). Step 1 - Make the pockets The pockets were made out of Kraft card stock that measured 5" W x 2.75" H. Along the long edge, score at 0.5" and 4.5" Along the short edge, score at 2.25" . You then need to taper the edges as well as cut out a section. Once again, please refer to the process video. As I made each pocket, I adhered the 2" x 2" number to it. Next, I cut out 2 sized of tags to go into the pockets For the larger tag, I rubbed on the aquamarine Inka Gold. I then threaded some metallic gold cord to attach the smaller tag to the larger one. Hi everyone, Im so behind in my Christmas Card making so I thought I'd sit down and churn out a few. This post is also doubling up as my project for the Aussie Youtube Hop December Projects 2018, so that explains what Im talking about in the process video -thank you Aunty Vera :) At the box opening, my eye was drawn to this  Sparkle Clear Stamp Set by Kaisercraft   and I knew I wanted to make Christmas tree embellishments so I sat down to do just that. I reached for my distress oxides in: - Green Clover - Peeled Paint - Peacock Feathers - Candied Apple - Frayed Burlap And stamped a whole lot of trees Next, I fussy cut them out leaving a little bit of a white border. Hi Everyone, Ive had this pack of milk cartons in my stash for so long now and I had this great idea when I saw this 12" x 12" sheet from the Carta Bella Collection Santa's Workshop. In the back of Santa's manor, Santa has yet another venture he is embarking on and that is, he is going to release a seasonal milk carton just before Christmas. And he's going to call it "Got Milk? *wink*" This is to be his first prototype. I started off by cutting down my carton to half the size so I can preserve the amount of paper I was going to have to use. Now it was time to decorate. I ended up using these 2 papers as they co-ordinated beautifully together. I cut down my papers to measure 3 1/2"W x 7 3/16th H on 2 sides. This was cut down further to 5" H and 2 3/16th H to prevent any problems along the score/fold line. The other 2 sides (the shorter ones) had papers that measured 3 1/2 " W x 5" H. ...

Hi everyone, It's time for the #take5art December Challenge with Brie's Prompts. Brie is Documented Journey over on Instagram and Youtube This month the prompts she gave the group are: 1- Botanicals 2- Water colors 3- Green 4- Some kind of text 5- Ball point pen For this layout, I used my Open Road stamp set by Kaisercraft to create an Australian themed botanical layout. Absolutely love how it turned out. I adore there 3D eucalyptus leaf elements And the proteas arrangement in the corner The quote is by Albert Einstein - one I wholeheartedly agree with.
